Birth
of the Sun was one of ten selected
finalists for this year’s NextGenNYC Showcase. There
was a screening with the other selected documentary and narrative films
on Wednesday,
September 17 in New
York City. See the Invite.

City College, Friday May 23rd
Birth of the Sun screened as part of the City College MFA Graduate
Narrative and Documentary program. The Cityvisions event, keynoted
by Filmmaker Christine Vachon, took place on the evening
of Friday, May 30. Screenings were at the Directors Guild Theater at
110 West 57th Street. Birth of the Sun began the program at 6:00
PM. and the Showcase continued on Saturday at noon.
Birth of the Sun also screened on Friday evening,
May 23rd as part of the Reel Exposure documenary
film festival at City College Campus. See "Current News" for
